In the beginning of the eruption, people were excited about the novelty of ash falling from the sky.
Everyone used to come from the country, the people in the surrounding areas used to stay where they are but we used to come from the north, from the south, from the east, ‘cause we wanted to be in Plymouth ‘cause that’s where most of the ash was falling.
